Semifinals Set for Saturday
The California Winter League Playoff quarterfinals have concluded with the Palm Springs Power defeating the Oregon Lumberjacks 2-1, the British Columbia Bombers defeating the Alberta Grizzly 6-4, the Palm Springs Chill defeating the Washington Blue Sox 8-6, and the Canada A’s defeating the Manitoba North Stars 7-6.
Saturday’s semifinals will begin at 10 AM with the A’s taking on the Bombers. The Chill and the Power will play in the second semifinal beginning at 12:30 PM. The winners will play each other in the championship game. Both games will take place at Palm Springs Stadium and will be streamed on the league website and on Facebook Live.
Saturday will also feature $2 Bud and Bud Light Drafts all day long. Sunday is the CWL Championship Game that will see nine innings of championship baseball beginning at Noon. Regular ticket prices are $10 for Adults, $8 for Seniors (65+), and $5 for Youth (12 and under).
