The 2027 California Winter League will take place from January 11th through February 8th, 2027. Registration is now open! Registration info, what’s included, and housing information is below.

The CWL plays all games at the Palm Springs Stadium complex.

MLB scouts and professional Managers and Coaches come from all over the United States to be a part of the CWL coaching staff and sign players for their 2026 rosters. On average, around 30% of CWL players receive a professional contract offer during and following the CWL season.

Player Fees and Discounts

The fee structure for the 2027 California Winter League is below. Check in for the 2027 CWL will be on January 11th with check out on February 8th. Plan to arrive and depart Palm Springs, CA on those dates.

CWL PLAYER FEES 

Position Players: $2000

Pitchers: $1495

Fees Cover:

• Game action: Guaranteed innings and at-bats in front of MLB scouts and managers from the MLB partner (independent) leagues.
• Trackman data: Palm Springs Stadium is equipped with a Trackman system to track pitching data (velocity, spin rate, break, release point, etc.) and hitter data (launch angle, exit velocity, directional spin, etc).
• Catered meal each day – Combination of local restaurants and in-house catering staff providing meals every day at Palm Springs Stadium.
• Shuttle transportation all day during the season between partner hotels, Palm Springs Stadium, and Eos Fitness facilities.
• Clubhouse manager services including uniforms laundered daily and other amenities to create a professional environment
• Gym membership at Eos Fitness for the duration of the league
• MLB alumni player/coach instruction
• Current Independent League managers and MLB scouts in attendance daily working with players and looking to sign players
• Uniforms (Pants, Jersey, Hat, Belt, Socks, Workout Shorts, Workout Shirt)
• Catcher’s gear will be provided (if needed)
• Equipment (Bats, Balls, Helmets)
• Locker room facility
• Players are responsible for their own transportation to and from Palm Springs, California

Your registration is a firm commitment to participate in the CWL. Cancellations will not result in a refund, but credit will be applied towards future seasons.

Housing Options:

For 2027, the CWL has two partner hotels for players who do not have their own housing for the 2027 CWL season. Players are encouraged to find their own housing if possible as spots at each partner hotel are extremely limited!

Hilton Vacation Club Palm Canyon Resort: $1950 per player

• Housing for the duration of the California Winter League, with check in on January 11th and check out on February 8th
• A two bedroom unit for four total players (four beds total in each unit)
• Full kitchen, two bathrooms, living room, dining area in each unit
• Daily shuttle transportation from the resort to Palm Springs Stadium
• On-site gym, recreation area
• Pool access including hot tub grotto and water slide

Best Western Inn at Palm Springs: $1750 per player

• Housing for the duration of the California Winter League, with check in on January 11th and check out on February 8th
• A two bed hotel room for two players
• Mini fridge and microwave
• Daily shuttle transportation from the hotel to Palm Springs Stadium
• Pool access
• Closer to downtown Palm Springs
