PALM SPRINGS, Calif – The California Winter League Playoffs begin February 16th at Palm Springs Stadium. The 16th will feature two games on the main stadium field with the Palm Springs Power facing the Palm Springs Chill and the Washington Blue Sox taking on the Oregon Lumberjacks in quarterfinal matchups. Game times for main stadium games on Thursday are 10:00am and 12:30pm, respectively. The Toronto Rush and Manitoba North Stars will play in a play-in game on the auxiliary field at 9:00am. From there, the Canada A’s will face the British Columbia Bombers, and the winner of the play-in game from Thursday will take on the Alberta Grizzly in quarterfinal games to be played on Friday, February 17th at 10:00am and 12:30pm respectively. Saturday will feature two semifinal games with the USA Division playing at 10:00am and the Canadian Division playing at 12:30. Sunday will feature the 2023 CWL Championship Game at 12:00 noon between the winners from each division.
Thursday is Out of Towner’s day, where US residents from outside the Coachella Valley get in for just $5. Friday is Canada Day where Canadian residents get in for just $5. Saturday will feature $2 Bud and Bud Light draft beers. Tickets for Sunday’s CWL Championship will be $10 for Adults, $8 for Seniors, $5 for kids, and our $14 Power ticket which includes a hot dog, chips, soft drink, and koozie will be available as well.
