Baseball Lifer Tim Johnson Adds To 2012 CWL Staff

PALM SPRINGS, CA — Tim Johnson is the most recent name added to the already impressive list of 2012 CWL Instructors. Johnson was drafted by the Dodgers in 1967 and debuted with the Brewers in 1973. He played six seasons in the Big Leagues.
Since his playing days, Johnson has enjoyed a long and illustrious career as a coach in professional baseball. Johnson spent time in the Cubs, Expos, Red Sox, and Dodgers systems as a scout and coach. He managed in the Majors for the Blue Jays in 1998 and part of the 1999 season.
Johnson has spent the last decade managing in independent baseball and has connections to the American Association and the North American League. He spent the 2011 season with the Lake County Fielders of the North American League.
