CWL CONGRATULATES FORMER PLAYERS AND COACHES IN 2017 FRONTIER LEAGUE PLAYOFFS

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. – As the 2017 regular season comes to a close across independent leagues all over the nation, the playoffs are just getting underway in the Frontier League, which the CWL is proud to represent as their official Winter League. The CWL staff would like to congratulate the following former players and coaches on great regular seasons and good luck in the playoffs!

Evansville Otters – Kyano Cummings, Lance Montano, Boots Day (bench coach; CWL manager)

Florence Freedom – Ryan Rinsky, Ozzy Braff, Jordan Brower, Dennis Pelfrey (manager; CWL manager)

Schaumburg Boomers – Kagen Hopkins, Jamie Bennett (manager; former CWL manager)

Washington Wild Things – Brian O’Keefe, Tyler Garkow

Dennis Pelfrey and Jamie Bennett both have managed in the CWL and have led their respective Frontier League teams to division titles this season. The Frontier League’s four playoff teams are featuring former CWLers who are making a big impact with their clubs. We congratulate them on their success this year and wish everyone good luck in the playoffs!
