The final day of the regular season kicked off with the British Columbia Bombers (6-10) and the Palm Desert Coyotes (5-11) facing off in a battle.

The game was a slug-fest that ended up going into extra innings tied at 10.

Scott Blanchette was an offensive standout for the Bombers, finishing his day two for three.

Max Garrett also belted a two run home run in the top fifth inning.

The Bombers used a Chris Winder solo home run in the top of the seventh to put British Columbia on top by one, then one more insurance run was added to finish off a 12-10 win in eight innings.

In game two, the Oregon Lumberjacks (9-7) and the Canada A’s (5-11), the A’s pulled ahead early with a Vincent Spilotro solo home run in the second inning.

In that same inning Robert Dimperio drove in a run on an RBI single and Deaun Williams slammed an RBI triple, A’s on top after the second 3-0.

From there on out it was all Lumberjacks, answering with three runs in the bottom of the second.

Gary Capolino ripped an RBI double, Trey Austin added a two RBI single tying the game at three apiece.

Bobby Martin led off the fifth with a single and then finished the inning with a three RBI triple.

The Jacks scored a touchdown in the fifth inning taking a lead 10 to 3 and that would hold for the victory.

In game three between the Palm Springs Chill (6-9-1) and the Washington Bluesox (8-6-2).

The Chill scored six runs in the seventh to force the second tie of the California Winter League season.

For the Bluesox, Dan Treccia went two for four with a three run homer and three runs scored.

Anthony Bazant went two for three with two RBI.

For the Chill, Yuki Yasuda slugged his first home run of the season in the sixth.

Bluesox tie the Chill 11-11 to end the regular season.

The final game of the day featured the Palm Springs POWER (10-5-1) and the Coachella Valley Snowbirds (13-3).

The POWER completed a two game season sweep of the Snowbirds giving the league leaders just their third loss of the season.

Ryan Van Amburg popped his second home run of the campaign and the POWER batted around in the fifth inning plating five runs in the process to pull away and seal the victory, 7-1.
