The Florence Y’alls have signed LHP Grayson Huffman out of the 2021 CWL. Huffman, out of Willow Park, TX was drafted in the 6th round in the 2014 MLB draft by the Toronto Blue Jays out of Grayson County College. He played 5 seasons in the Blue Jays system and attended the CWL as he works his way back from Tommy John surgery. Now, he will focus on cementing an Opening Day roster spot with Florence as he works his way back up the ranks of professional baseball. At the CWL, Huffman showcased the ability to change speeds and cut or run his sneaky fastball. He also showed a strong change up and a curveball that he could locate for strikes or bury for swings and misses.
