Palm Springs, Calif. – The California Winter League is excited to announce the schedule for the 16th season of CWL baseball.
Opening day is scheduled for Thursday January 23rd at Palm Springs Stadium. Seven teams will compete in the 2025 CWL each playing 20 games across 28 days including a three day postseason concludes the schedule with the CWL Championship Game on February 16th. All games will be played at Palm Springs Stadium.
Players will compete in the hopes of earning a professional contract. Last season 32% of CWL participants were offered a contract from a professional baseball league.Many of the players this year will hail from abroad with 58 internationals competing in the CWL this season. Team China will be returning to the CWL this season with 30 Chinese players making the trip from across the Pacific Ocean.

The league features MLB scouts and managers representing all four MLB Partner Leagues. Former Major Leaguer and World Series Champion with the St. Louis Cardinals Aaron Miles will serve as one of the seven managers in his first season in the desert.
Games will be scheduled for 10 AM and 12:30 PM every day of the week during the season at Palm Springs Stadium. General admission tickets can be purchased at the stadium box office.

Promotions this season include Margarita Monday and Two for Tuesday with two tickets for the price of one. Fans have the opportunity for five dollar admission on both Locals’ Wednesday for Coachella Valley residents and Out of Towners’ Thursday for out of town US residents.

Weekend promotions are highlighted by Canada Day on Friday where Canadian residents get in the ballpark for five dollars, three dollar draft beers on Saturday and Family Day on Sunday with free admission for kids 12 and under and five dollar discounted admission for all adults and seniors.

The California Winter League is the longest running professional showcase league of its kind. Since its inaugural season in 2010, the CWL has seen over 850 of its players sign professional contracts.
