Sam Ruta Notches Two Doubles in Professional Debut for Royals Double-A Club

2025 CWL player Sam Ruta made his professsional debut for the Northwest Arkansas Naturals (Royals – AA) and collected his first two professional hits, both doubles. He finished the day with two RBI as well. Ruta was a member of the 2025 Canada A’s at the California Winter League. He was signed by the Royals following the conclusion of the CWL with his first assignment being to the Naturals following spring training. Ruta hit .360 with 1 homerun, 8 doubles, and 18 RBI at the CWL.
